KIRK dect-z System 1500 Brochure
Unique voice quality, efficiency and cost savings are just a few of the benefits of a KIRK wireless voice solution.
The KIRK dect-z System 1500 is a modular wireless voice communication system. The system is based on the Digitally Enhanced Cordless Telephony (DECT) technology, and com-plies with the GAP standard.
The system is an add-on system that integrates with most existing and future Call Handlers. It consists of a Wireless Mobility Server and a number of Base Stations, Repeaters and wireless handsets.
The KIRK System 1500 is flexible in relation to coverage, voice traffic, number of users, and interface technology
- Indoor coverage of a base station: from 50 to 150 m, depending on building materials
- Outdoor coverage of a base station: from 300 to 600 m, depending on reflection from surroundings
- Voice traffic: from 30 up to 60 voice channels
- Users: From 1 up to 700
- Analogue, ISDN or IP interface between the
- KIRK solution and the Call Handler
KIRK solution and the Call Handler
- ISDN level voice quality
- Seamless handover between base stations. A call is transferred noiselessly from one base station to another without being lost
- The KIRK dect-z System 1500 is a transparent system. The system transfers Call Handler functionalities to the Handset
- Roaming: A Handset can be sub-scribed to more systems and will automatically log on to the relevant system
- Coverage area can be extended via the use of wireless KIRK Repeaters. One Repeater extends the coverage area with 50% (the traffic capacity remains the same)
- MSF - messaging function ("SMS"). MSF makes it possible to use the KIRK Handset for alarm and monitoring purposes as well as sending messages from one Handset to another
- Easy installation and maintenance
